Terms of service

Welcome to devotion.to. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and devotion.to ("devotion.to," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of our storefront at devotion.to and our app at my.devotion.to (together, the "Service"). By using the Service or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order or create an account. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your content and the rights you give us
When you upload photos, text, audio, or other material ("Your Content") to build a page, you keep ownership of it. To make and operate your product, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, print, display, and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you, for example to print your item, generate its page, and display that page to your recipient. This license lasts as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet our legal obligations.
You promise that you own Your Content or have all rights and permissions needed to upload it and to have it printed and displayed, and that Your Content does not infringe anyone's rights or violate any law. If Your Content includes other people, you confirm you have the right to include them.
3. Content that is not allowed
You agree not to upload or create any content that is illegal, infringing, or violates someone else's rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights; that is sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise exploits or endangers a minor, in any form; that is harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, or intended to harm; that contains malware or attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or that impersonates someone in a deceptive or harmful way.
We may remove content, disable a page, or suspend an account that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, and we may report unlawful content to authorities.
4. The writing assistant
The Service may offer an optional feature that suggests message text using an AI model. Suggestions are provided "as is" as a starting point for you to review and edit. We do not guarantee that suggestions are accurate, appropriate, or suitable for any purpose, and you are responsible for the final content you choose to use.
5. Your page and availability of the Service
Your page depends on the Service remaining operational. We work hard to keep it available and to keep your page live, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or permanent availability. Pages may become temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons, and pages may be disabled or deleted in certain cases, for example following a full refund or chargeback, a violation of these Terms, or as described in our Privacy and Refund policies. Please keep your own copies of photos and text that matter to you.
6. Orders, pricing, and payment
Prices are shown at checkout and may change over time. We may correct errors in pricing or product descriptions and cancel affected orders, even after an order is placed, refunding you if needed. Payment is processed through our payment providers, and by ordering you authorize the charge for your order, including any applicable taxes and shipping. Fulfillment and shipping are covered in our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are covered in our Refund & Return Policy. Both are part of these Terms.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service itself, including our branding, designs, text, software, and the look and feel of devotion.to, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not give you any right to use our branding or copy our Service, except to use the Service as intended.
8. Acceptable use of the Service
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access pages or accounts that are not yours, probing or bypassing security, scraping, reverse-engineering, overloading the Service, or using it for any unlawful purpose. The playful reveal and unlock features on a page are for delight and are not security controls. Do not rely on them to protect sensitive content, and do not attempt to exploit them or others' pages.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that pages will remain available indefinitely. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of this may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, devotion.to and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service or an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so some of this may not apply to you.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold devotion.to harmless from claims, damages, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
